The report examines the topic of the so-called “green deal” of the European Union, which has been extremely relevant in recent years and its influence on the activities of gas distribution companies. The European Green Deal presents and expresses Europe’s ambition to become the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. It is an industrial strategy for a competitive, green and digital Europe, which sets itself the ambitious goals of “climate neutrality”, i.e. is achieving a state of balance between greenhouse gas emissions that are released into the atmosphere and those that are removed from it through special technologies. In this way, many companies reduce their “carbon footprint” and work to protect the environment and the ecological balance. EU regulations in this direction aim to create opportunities for economic growth through the development of new technologies. It is of key importance whether the business will be able to meet the set goals and continue to 84 develop sustainably. The human resources available to the organization are among the main factors that are directly related to the successful implementation of the offered product on the market. The education, qualification of the employees, ethical and professional relationships between the members of the individual teams are part of the image of the organization in front of partners, customers and competitors. The excessive freedom of action of the employees and allowing a compromise with the qualifications of the hired workers is one of the risk factors for the management in terms of the authority of the organization, and from there for the achievement of high quality of the offered product. This report is oriented towards tracking and analysis of the Legislation in the process of realization of gasification in the Republic of Bulgaria. It reflects the views of the author regarding the guidelines, specific actions, responsible institutions and deadlines ensuring the implementation of pre-defined, qualitatively and quantitatively measurable goals. The development is based on the presumption that the update of the Energy Strategy, as well as the obligation to develop a National Program, including a road map and an action plan under the new conditions of the gas market, are of key importance. The challenge of dealing with crisis situations requires urgent legislative initiatives in the field of gas supply, flexible and simplified administrative procedures. 10
