Abstract:

The opportunities for achieving green agriculture in Bulgaria are examined given the impact of the new CAP for the period 2023-2027 and the implementation of green practices. It is pointed out that farmers are faced with a choice – whether to continue their current agricultural activity or to change the structure of their farms and apply the new green requirements. It is pointed out that this process requires time, innovative thinking and investment behavior, which is difficult to apply in the conditions of the war in Ukraine and its consequences for the agricultural sector in Bulgaria.
